Public Speaking
Sherri enjoys public speaking and making people LAUGH. She is available to speak to church groups and homeschool groups. She enjoys speaking on how to become a Godly woman, how to recover from grief, homeschool goal setting, organization, record keeping, homeschooling high school, teaching children purity and more. Below are some of the workshops Sherri does.

Organizing Your Homeschool and Keeping it That Way
Summary: Organizing your homeschool and keeping it that way may seem to be a daunting task, but with the right tools, it can be easy. Every great accomplishment once began with a plan. Scripture says that where there is no vision the people perish. First, there is a vision, then a plan, and finally success. Learn how to fearlessly plan and organize your homeschool (not to be confused with organizing your schoolroom) and to record your progress throughout the year with confidence. You can do more than simply exist, you can excel.

Unfading Beauty
Seminar Summary: Homeschooling provides a wonderful opportunity for mothers to pour themselves into their daughters and to teach them valuable traits for living as a Godly woman. However, there will come a time when you will no longer be able to decide what your daughter wears, where she goes and with whom she spends her time. When that time comes, wouldn't it be nice to know that she will make the right decisions about modest clothing and discreet behavior and that her heart's desire will be to please God in this area of her life? With the growing rate of STDs, teenage pregnancy and divorce, it has never been more important than now to teach your daughter the true meaning of unfading beauty. Some think that fighting for modesty and purity is a losing battle. Sherri Johnson disagrees and wants to help you save your daughter from society's trap.

You can influence your daughter to have the same values as you do when it comes to modesty and purity; instill in her the importance of dressing modestly when everywhere in society we look (and even in the church) there seems to be too much exposed skin; and teach her that modesty and her purity are directly related and that her example affects the lives and choices of those around her, including her brothers.
Don't Cry Over Spilled Schoolbooks
Seminar Summary: Proverbs 31:5 says a Godly woman can laugh at the days to come. Does that include the 180 days of homeschooling that seem more like 1,800 days? In case you did not know it, homeschooling can be difficult at times. Honestly, parenting is a tough job. Combine it with homeschooling, and you often feel as if you have had a root canal. You start your year off like a racehorse out of the gate, but by March, you find that the noble goals you set at the beginning of the year are only halfway accomplished. You love your children, but being with them non-stop day after day can be taxing on your nerves. Surprisingly, your children probably feel the same way. Now you understand why so many parents stop homeschooling after Elementary school. Learn how to laugh when you want to cry, see the silver lining when everything feels stormy, and to make the most of what you have by changing your attitude about it.

Homeschooling the P31 Way
Unlock the secret of the Proverbs 31 woman and find out how to homeschool, be a nurturing mother and a homemaker all at the same time. In Homeschooling the P31 Way, homeschooling moms will learn common excuses the modern woman uses and will also learn excuse busters. The P31 woman could put any modern woman to shame, but it does not have to be that way. She had countless daily duties, but carried them out confidently and successfully, all the while bringing respect and honor to her husband and giving instruction and encouragement to her children. The P31 woman is busy, but never overwhelmed, organized yet flexible. She gets the job done and you can too!

Homeschooling the Future Generations
Discover how you can prepare your children for their futures in the up and coming hi-tech age without sacrificing tradition or conviction. The world they will live in when they are grown will be different than the world we live in today, just as ours has been different from the world our ancestors lived in. Are you worried that technology has already surpassed your comprehension? Are you afraid of technology and what it might do to your family? Maybe you feel too inadequate to teach your children because you were poorly educated. Maybe you are none of these things. Possibly, you have embraced technology to the point that you depend on it to teach your children for you. The adults of tomorrow will live in a completely automated society, but must know the importance of living an anti-sedentary, sociable lifestyle. If you are afraid of computers or the entire age of technology, this workshop will encourage you to embrace progress and will help you to prepare your children for life in the future. If you love technology and want it to do your schooling for you, you will learn how to engage in your children’s lives. In Homeschooling the Future Generations, you will learn the importance of teaching your children actively versus passively; to be involved and to teach with purpose.
